The corporate team of international law firm Mayer Brown1 has advised one of France's leading producers of retailers' own-brand dairy products, Senoble, in connection with its acquisition of Elisabeth The Chef ('ETC') for an undisclosed price.

Senoble is an independent French company created in 1921, with sales totalling 850 million Euros.

ETC was created in 1928 and has been owned by Primary Capital since 1999. It is a prominent manufacturer of desserts and fresh pastries in the UK. The corporation has 1,000 employees and three factories in central England.

Teams from Mayer Brown's London and Paris offices advised Senoble. In Paris, partner Guillaume Kuperfils and associate Pascal Druhen-Charnaux advised, and in London, partner Richard Page assisted by Tim Knowland.

ETC was advised by Noel Haywood and Tim Lake of DLA Piper.
