9 July 2007 -- Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP, a leading international firm, today announced that Sterling M. Dorish has rejoined the firm as a partner with the Corporate Practice in the New York office. Mr. Dorish brings ten years of transactional experience, including public and private offerings of common and preferred equity securities as well as investment grade and high yield debt securities. He also has represented issuers, dealer managers and solicitation agents in tender offers, consent solicitations and exchange offers.

Mr. Dorish comes to Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw from King & Spalding LLP, where he focused on matters related to corporate finance since 2004. In addition to transactional work, Mr. Dorish also advised domestic and foreign private issuers with respect to ongoing securities, public reporting and corporate governance matters.

Mr. Dorish began his career in Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw's Chicago office in 1998 as a Corporate Associate and gained international experience in the firm's London office as well.

Mr. Dorish attended the University of Manitoba where he majored in finance, was on the Dean's List and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honors in 1994. He received his J.D. from The Law School of The University of Chicago, graduating with honors in 1998. Mr. Dorish was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1998 and the New York Bar in 2006.
