On 6 November 2019, Mayer Brown and Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (“HKIHRM”) co-hosted a networking session titled “Network and Learn: Hong Kong Employment Law Updates” at Mayer Brown Hong Kong office. The event started with a welcome note from Margaret Cheng, President of HKIHRM, followed by a presentation provided by our employment Senior Associate Jennifer Tam on the recent legislation and policies update affecting the HR . After the presentation, the guests started to mingle and catch up with each other over some wine.
The event was well-received and thoroughly enjoyed by over 60 HKIHRM members from various industries, including finance, telecommunications, education and government. Employment Partner Hong Tran also attended this networking event.
