Gautier Elies

Admitted to the Paris and New York Bars, Gautier Elies is a partner in the Corporate & Securities practice of the Paris office. 

Gautier's practice is focused on private equity, domestic and cross-border M&A, and securities. In addition to advising a broad range of international investors on French private equity transactions, he has considerable experience acting for pan-European and global investors on European transactions across a range of sectors. Gautier's practice also includes leveraged buyouts, disposals and other financing transactions.  

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Gautier practised for more than fifteen years within a major American law firm in Paris.

In addition to his native French, Gautier is fluent in English.
