Mayer Brown adds leading Corporate and Securities lawyer Martha McGarry in New York
Ms. McGarry to co-lead the US M&A practice
Mayer Brown announced today that it added leading corporate and securities lawyer Martha McGarry to its global Corporate & Securities practice as a partner in New York. She joins the firm from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
With extensive experience in M&A, corporate governance and shareholder activism, Ms. McGarry has advised on numerous high-profile, and often transformational, transactions. She has been a strategic advisor to some of the world’s largest and best-known companies, including American Express, Coca-Cola and The Hershey Company. Ms. McGarry will co-lead Mayer Brown’s US M&A practice.
