Mayer Brown advises British Land on £177m sale of Clarges, London to Deka

London — Mayer Brown has advised British Land on the £177 million sale of its freehold interest in the mixed-use estate at Clarges, London to Deka.

The estate, set in the heart of Mayfair, was acquired by British Land in 2012 for redevelopment, which completed in 2017. The development includes more than 50,000 sq ft of high end office space, 34 super prime residential apartments and nearly 15,000 sq ft of high quality retail.

Mayer Brown advised British Land on their original acquisition and have acted for them throughout the development and leasing phases.
