Mayer Brown announced that Intellectual Property partner Lisa Ferri (New York) has been recognized in Managing Intellectual Property (MIP)’s “Top 250 Women in IP,” a list of leading intellectual property female practitioners globally who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year.

A co-leader of the firm's global Intellectual Property practice, Ms. Ferri has been named to the list each year since its inception in 2013. She serves as lead trial and appellate counsel on behalf of high-profile companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, and has tried high-stakes cases in federal courts across the country and the International Trade Commission. She also advises companies and investors in the life sciences industry in transactions involving intellectual property, including mergers and acquisitions, collaborations, joint ventures and other strategic commercial arrangements.

According to the publication, the “Top 250 Women in IP” were selected from MIP’s general “IP Stars” list, the leading specialist guide to IP firms and practitioners worldwide, which includes information from thousands of firms, IP practitioners and their clients through interviews, emails and online surveys.

MIP is a source of analysis on IP developments worldwide and it has been researching and ranking firms since 1996.
