The blog can be found at www.USBenefits.law and can be followed on Twitter: @MBBenefitsBlog.

The blog will be overseen by Mayer Brown partners Maureen Gorman and Debra Hoffman, who focus on executive compensation and employee benefits matters. Other regular contributors to the blog include Mayer Brown lawyers Erika Gosker, Ryan Liebl, Lennine Occhino, James Williams, Rebecca Davenport, Karen Grotberg, Cessy Roth, Jim Crossen, Katie Dean, Joe Lifsics and Stephanie Vasconcellos.

The blog’s writers will analyze and comment on developments in the areas of employee benefits and executive compensation, including analysis of cases and regulatory guidance from the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and will discuss new products and trends in the relevant areas.

“The launch of this blog will provide Mayer Brown’s multidisciplinary team of employee benefits lawyers with a broader platform to facilitate a more public and continuing discussion of important benefits and compensation issues and offer a more in depth perspective on matters of interest to both domestic and multinational companies,” said Ms. Gorman.
