Mayer Brown JSM's counsel, Xiaoyan Zhang will be participating in the China's Cyber-security: Policy and Trends, an event hosted by American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
Cyber-security continues to be at the forefront of US-China relations and is having an enormous impact on companies operating in China. During their recent meeting in the United States, President Xi and President Obama agreed to cooperate on cyber-security issues, to not conduct or knowingly support cyber-enabled theft of intellectual property and to establish a high-level joint dialogue mechanism on cyber-security. How will this dialogue and cooperation impact companies in China and what are the key issues that companies face in this arena?
Xiaoyan will be discussing with the audience on what cyber-security means from a legal perspective.
