Jeremiah DeBerry, Mayer Brown’s Director of Diversity & Inclusion in the United States, has been selected by Profiles in Diversity Journal as a 2016 “Diversity Leader.” The publication’s annual award series recognizes individuals who “are embracing the significance of building diverse and inclusive cultures with programs that have potential to extend beyond the companies they represent.” Read more.

New York-based counsel Monique Mulcare has been selected for membership into The National Black Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers for 2016, an invitation-only professional honorary organization comprised of America’s top attorneys who represent individuals, families and business in the American legal system.

Chicago partner, Melissa Anyetei, was recognized this year by the National Diversity Council as one of the “Most Powerful and Influential Women” in Illinois.

Mayer Brown is proud to announce that it received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Washington DC partner Liz Espín Stern was named to the National Law Journal’s list of “Outstanding Women Lawyers.” According to the NLJ, the list recognizes 75 of the nation’s most accomplished female lawyers in the legal profession today, representing excellence in private practice, corporate counsel work, public-interest law, legal education and the judiciary. Additionally, Lori and Chicago partner Rebecca Eisner were named by Profiles in Diversity Journal as two of their “100 Women Worth Watching.” Rebecca was also named the Partner in Charge of the Chicago office and is the first woman to serve in this role at the firm.

Chicago partner Charles E. Harris, II, has been selected for the 2015 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. 

Houston Energy partner Pablo Ferrante has been recognized as a “Rainmaker” by Diversity & The Bar magazine, a publication of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association. Mr. Ferrante was selected to this annual list, which highlights leading minority attorneys’ professional successes, from a pool of nominees recommended by firms across the country. Read more.

Law360 described Britt Miller as someone “With a reputation as a creative and thoughtful strategist” in designating her one of Law360’s Ten Competition Lawyers under 40.

Donna Morgan was named to the Top 10 Women List of Leading Women Consumer Lawyers in Illinois by Leading Lawyers Network. Additional lawyers listed in either the Top 100 Women of Leading Lawyers and/or the Top 100 Business Lawyers in Illinois by the Leading Lawyers Network are Fern Bomchill, Debora de Hoyos, Rebecca Eisner, and Michele Odorizzi.

London Finance partner Rachel Speight has been listed in The 100 Global Inspiration Women in Mining 2013 and The International Who's Who of Mining Lawyers 2013, 2014 and 2015.
