Mayer Brown represents Sensus on $1.7 billion sale to Xylem

Mayer Brown announced today that it represented Sensus, a global leader in smart meters, network technologies and advanced data analytics solutions for the water industry, The Jordan Company and Goldman Sachs Private Equity Group in Sensus’ sale to Xylem Inc. for $1.7 billion.

The Mayer Brown team included New York-based Corporate & Securities partners Phil Brandes and Ugo Ude and associate Colin Carley, as well as lawyers from the firm’s Antitrust & Competition, Banking & Finance, Corporate & Securities, Employment & Benefits, Environmental, Government & Global Trade, Intellectual Property, Real Estate and Tax Transactions & Consulting practices. The team also represents lawyers from Mayer Brown’s Chicago, New York and Washington DC offices.
