Mayer Brown promotes Sandy Bhogal to head of Tax in London

London - Leading international law firm Mayer Brown has appointed Sandy Bhogal as the new head of the Tax group in London. Sandy, who has significant experience in corporate tax planning, as well as the development of domestic and cross-border tax-efficient structures, joined Mayer Brown eight years ago. He takes over from Peter Steiner, who retired at the end of 2012 but still remains with the firm as a consultant.

The Tax team in London provides a full service on all corporate and commercial issues of direct and indirect tax. In addition, the team advises on tax disputes, transfer pricing and the tax aspects of employment related issues as well as tax planning, risk assessment and reorganisation work. Globally, Mayer Brown's tax practice operates across Europe, Asia and the Americas to provide commercial advice on corporate, Partnership and individual taxation.
