JUVE Awards 2013 - Mayer Brown nominated as “Law Firm of the Year for Employment Law”

9 August 2013
Frankfurt/Düsseldorf – Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm, has been nominated by JUVE as the 2013 “Law Firm of the Year for Employment Law.” The winners will be announced in October in Frankfurt.

JUVE, the leading publishing house for the German legal market, honors law firms for outstanding performance in a specific practice area or region. Nominations are based on personal and telephone interviews and written surveys, which are led by JUVE editors with clients, lawyers, judges and other market participants. Selection criteria include expertise, strategic orientation, service orientation and future potential.

“We are delighted about this additional acknowledgment of our work,” said Employment & Benefits partner Dr. Guido Zeppenfeld (Frankfurt). “During the past year, we were able to expand existing client relationships, gain new clients and increase our market visibility.” Guido Zeppenfeld leads the eight-person German employment law team and is also co-leader of Mayer Brown’s global Employment & Benefits practice with approximately 100 lawyers in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

The German team advises on individual and collective employment law as well as on transactions and restructurings, compensation and employee share schemes, occupational pensions and employee data protection. A special focus of the group is multijurisdictional projects, where the firm’s worldwide network is of particular benefit.
