Mayer Brown advises on £200 million sale of JAC Travel to Australian-listed Webjet

London — Mayer Brown has advised its private equity client Vitruvian Partners and its portfolio company JAC Travel on its sale to Australian-listed travel company Webjet Limited for £200 million.

JAC Travel is a UK headquartered B2B travel provider specialising in wholesale accommodation and tailored tours to groups visiting the UK, Ireland and Europe.

The acquisition will be funded by a fully underwritten accelerated cash and debt funding and a new issue of Webjet shares. The transaction is expected to close in September.
