Mayer Brown advises Unilever on sale of Peperami

London - Leading global law firm Mayer Brown has advised Unilever on the sale of its Peperami salami sticks to US-based beef jerky maker Jack Link’s. The deal also includes the sale of Bifi, Unilever’s meat snack brand sold in Germany, Switzerland and other parts of Europe. The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, also includes the manufacturing unit in Ansbach, Germany.

Andy Stewart, Corporate & Securities partner at Mayer Brown, said: “Peperami is an iconic brand and the sale will allow Unilever to continue sharpening its portfolio. Unilever is a long standing client so we’re delighted to have advised them on this deal.”
