Mayer Brown advises Japanese institutional investors in Nippon Sheet Glass private share placement

Mayer Brown announced today that it advised Japanese institutional investors on due diligence of Nippon Sheet Glass’ (NSG) US subsidiary and business. NSG, the world’s second-largest glassmaker, expects to raise about 40 billion yen (approximately US $352 million) through a private share placement.

The Mayer Brown team was led by Houston-based Corporate & Securities partner Toshi Yoshida and included: Corporate & Securities associates Kristen Ford and Jessica Sewell (both Houston); Tax Transactions & Consulting partner Ed Osterberg (Houston); Banking & Finance associate Stephen Yeh (Houston); and Employment & Benefits counsels Kim Leffert and Karen Grotberg (both Chicago).
