Mayer Brown Wins Life Sentence for Intellectually Disabled Death Row Prisoner

The article reports on the pro bono effort of Mayer Brown lawyers in securing a plea agreement with the State of Georgia that avoided the death penalty for an intellectually disabled death row defendant who had been convicted for a double murder in 1988.
