Masterclass: The Long Reach of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court's Jurisdiction

Mayer Brown cordially invites you to join us at this exclusive masterclass which offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the development and far-reaching implications of Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 cases.

This masterclass, featuring in-house thought leaders from Hong Kong, the U.K. and the U.S., will focus on some challenges and lessons learned with regard to non-U.S. debtor Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 filings.

Key topics to be addressed include:

  • the aggressive and expansive view of jurisdiction taken by the U.S. bankruptcy courts;
  • contesting a filing;
  • choice and availability of Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 filings; and
  • the interaction of Chapter 11 with the jurisdiction of other relevant courts outside the U.S.
