Mayer Brown associate named to Lawyers of Color’s inaugural “Hot List”

Mayer Brown, a leading global law firm, announced that Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate Quinncy McNeal (Houston) has been named to Lawyers of Color’s inaugural “Hot List,” which honors early- to mid-career minority attorneys who are excelling in the legal profession. Lawyers of Color produces publications for US lawyers of South Asian, Pacific Asian, Hispanic, Native American and African heritages, and promotes exceptional minority lawyers on its social media platforms.

Lawyers of Color Hot List honorees were chosen by a committee comprised of the editorial staff and advisers, as well as law school fellows and interns, who reviewed nominations and researched bar publications and legal blogs to identify promising candidates. Selections also were based on research that identified attorneys who had noteworthy accomplishments or were active in legal pipeline initiatives.

Mr. McNeal focuses his practice on civil litigation in state and federal courts and matters before arbitration tribunals. He has represented corporate clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes, including: construction litigation; matters involving complex financial disputes; and a substantial amount of cases involving complex breach of contract claims. Mr. McNeal’s practice also includes a significant commitment to pro bono clients, and he is a member of Mayer Brown’s Associate Diversity Council. He earned a JD from the University of Houston Law Center and received a BS from Northwestern University.
