First Conflict Minerals Filings Still Due June 2, 2014

6 May 2014
Mayer Brown Legal Update
As a result of a decision from the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit holding portions of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Conflicts Minerals Rule to be unconstitutional, the SEC has issued a stay for compliance with those sections. The SEC confirmed, however, that the due date for the first conflict minerals filings remains June 2, 2014 and that the filings must comply with all of the other provisions of the rule.
