Doing Business in a Connected World: The Impact of Cybersecurity & Data Privacy

Please join us for our eighth annual legal conference to discuss cyber and data privacy issues facing businesses in today’s digital economy.

Our program will feature an interactive cybersecurity incident tabletop exercise in which members of Mayer Brown’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy team, along with representatives from CrowdStrike and Brunswick Group, will present a fictional cybersecurity breach scenario. Collaborating in teams facilitated by incident first responders, participants will explore critical legal, computer forensics, and communication issues and gain valuable insights to take back to their companies.

At lunch, we will hear a discussion with Richard H. Ledgett Jr., former Deputy Director, National Security Agency, and Suzanne E. Spaulding, former Under Secretary for the National Protection and Programs Directorate, Department of Homeland Security.

The program will also offer panel discussions on a wide range of key cybersecurity and data privacy topics including:

  • Emerging Technology and Navigating the Global Policy Landscape
  • Key Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Issues Facing Regulated Entities
  • Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Litigation Trends
  • Countdown to the GDPR

Confirmed panelists include representatives from Accenture, Apple, AT&T, BNP Paribas, Boeing, BSA | The Software Alliance, Business Roundtable, Caterpillar, Hyatt, McDonald’s, Nissan North America, Twitter and the US Chamber of Commerce.
