Gabriela Kennedy's Asia Pacific column in the latest issue of Computer Law & Security Review features Mayer Brown JSM article, "Do Not Disturb! Convictions for Breach of the Direct Marketing Restrictions and Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance" by Gabriela Kennedy and Karen H.F. Lee. The authors look at recent convictions for breaches of the Hong Kong Unsolicited Electronic Message Ordinance (Cap. 593) (UEMO) and Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and their implication for data users and direct marketers.
