Consumer Finance Class Actions and Enforcements

Recent and pending Supreme Court cases such as Tyson and Spokeo may have wide implications for consumer finance class actions. Developments in consumer finance laws and regulation, such as the CFPB’s comments on their strategic priorities, may also have potential ramifications in the regulatory enforcement of financial markets.

In this environment, the role of economic and industry experts continues to evolve. Steve Kaplan and Archis Parasharami will be participating in a panel that will be discussing the increasingly sophisticated analyses of the industry, its products, and consumer behavior.
