China's 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up - Business and Commercial Law Seminar

​On 29 November 2018, Thomas So spoke in a legal seminar jointly organised by The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (“CCPIT”), The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Paris (“CGCC”), Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (“HKGCC”), The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong and Federation of Hong Kong Industries (“HKFI”). Attended by business leaders and experts from Hong Kong and China, this seminar marks the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening up.

Thomas spoke on the topic “Hong Kong – The Preferred Centre for Dispute Resolution” and shared his insights of Hong Kong’s position as a major international arbitration centre in Asia Pacific, the legal system and environment in Hong Kong, as well as the enforcement of arbitral awards in China.

The seminar was well received with positive feedback from attendees.
