Banking & Finance Lawyer

Responsibilities

  • Handling different finance transactions for our real estate practice, in particular the following areas: Development/construction financing; and general commercial real estate financing.
  • Providing advice to the clients (mainly key banking institutions in Hong Kong) in relation to real estate finance matters.
  • Opportunities to work on PRC finance matters.

Requirements

  • 2 years or above PQE in finance work.
  • Candidates not qualified in Hong Kong will also be considered.
  • Experience in real estate related financing preferred but not essential. Training will be provided on real estate aspects of the practice.
  • Capable to handle assigned tasks independently.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Multi-tasking, self-motivated and attentive to details, able to work under pressure and as member of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and client management skills.

Banking & Finance Senior Associate (6 months)

Responsibilities

Intellectual Property Associate in the IP and TMT Group

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 3 years' post qualification experience in handling IP enforcement, commercial IP matters.
  • Interest in being part of a dynamic team and gaining experience in a variety of TMT matters from data privacy and cybersecurity to fintech and technology outsourcing contracts.
  • Excellent Command of English. Cantonese and Mandarin an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and client management skills.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure, and a good team player.

Real Estate Associate
Responsibilities

  • Handling different real estate transactions, in particular the following areas:
    • Project conveyancing (residential and non-residential) including application for consent to pre-sale.
    • Acquisitions of properties for redevelopment purposes.
    • Providing advice to the clients (mainly developers in Hong Kong) in relation to land grants, modifications and other real estate development matters.
    • Drafting project development documents including deeds of mutual covenant incorporating management agreement, sale and purchase agreements, mortgage, assignment, and other related documents.
    • Perusing of title deeds and approving title.
    • Supervising paralegals in project conveyancing matters

Requirements

  • 5 years or above of post qualification experience in real estate work.
  • Experience in project conveyancing (in particular first-hand residential projects) required.
  • Capable to handle assigned tasks independently (in particular the capability to review and approve title deeds).
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Mandarin and simplified Chinese (reading and typing) capability preferred.
  • Multi-tasking, self-motivated and attention to details, able to work under pressure and as member of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and client management skills

Real Estate (Finance) Associate
