An Overview of Mexico's Energy Reforms

Please join us as Mayer Brown hosts a complimentary discussion about Mexico’s recently enacted energy reforms with Chris Davy, Acting Director for Energy Diplomacy for Africa, Europe and the Western Hemisphere in the Energy and Natural Resources Bureau at the US Department of State.

Among the topics to be addressed are what these reforms mean for energy security in Mexico and the United States, their effect on bilateral agreements, NAFTA's role and pending and anticipated regulations.

Chris Davy joined the Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer in 2002 and has worked on energy issues in several countries including Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. He served as the energy attaché at the US Embassy in Mexico City from 2012 to 2014.
