10th National Institute on the Civil False Claims Act and Qui Tam Enforcement

The Civil False Claims Act (FCA) is the fastest growing area of federal litigation, particularly because of its unique qui tam enforcement mechanism and its application to all areas of the economy. There were over $3 billion in recoveries last year alone, and the watershed amendments passed in 2009, and adopted by many of the states, are now being applied in Federal and state FCA cases around the county. The Tenth National Institute will bring together experts from all areas—DOJ, state AG offices, federal agencies, leading defense and plaintiff firms—to discuss this ever-growing area of litigation and enforcement and make this intensive program a must both for experienced qui tam litigators and those new to the field.
