Experience
Dr. Hans Hofmann is a respected corporate and transactional attorney who represents clients across a broad spectrum of real estate issues and business and investments-related matters. In addition, Hans represents non-German clients in their activities in Germany, including guidance of subsidiaries, and he counsels open-end real investment funds and other investors in the acquisition, disposal and administration of German and foreign real estate and real estate companies.
Hans advises corporate clients in acquisitions, leasing arrangements, financings and restructurings, and he counsels corporate directors in a variety of strategic matters. He also conducts a substantial notarial practice focused on real estate and corporate matters.
Hans joined Mayer Brown in 2001 and was named Partner that same year. Previously, he held partner positions with two other prominent law firms and he served before as a Postgraduate Assistant at the University of Frankfurt am Main. Hans is fluent in German (native speaker), English and French.
