Robert Gordon is a partner in the Real Estate Group at Mayer Brown. He has a widely diversified practice in transactions involving real estate and facilities, including lease finance, securitization, mortgage finance, acquisitions and dispositions, and joint ventures and partnerships. He regularly represents leasing companies, banks, capital markets firms, and corporate and institutional clients.Mr. Gordon joined Mayer, Brown in 1979, becoming a partner in 1986. He has participated in conferences regarding securitization and lease finance, and is an adjunct professor in the LLM program in Real Estate Law at The John Marshal Law School. He received his BS degree, with honors in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan in 1976 and his JD, cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law in 1979. He is a member of the Illinois Bar.
