Experience 
Andrew is a real estate associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office.  He represents lenders in complex single-asset and multi-asset real estate financing transactions and construction loans. In addition, Andrew has acted for clients of the firm in the acquisition and disposition of real property throughout the United States.  Andrew joined Mayer Brown in 2007.

Notable Engagements 

  • Representation of the borrower and the guarantor in connection with an $87 million loan to refinance a commercial office building located on the Jersey City, New Jersey waterfront.
  • Representation of the administrative agent and lender in connection with a $75 million loan to finance the acquisition of a nylon intermediate chemical manufacturing business secured by mortgages on five processing plants located in Alabama, Florida, Texas and South Carolina.
  • Representation of the administrative agent and lender in connection with a $12 million loan to finance the acquisition of an auto paint and body repair company secured by mortgages on 25 properties located in Arizona, California, Maryland, Nevada, Texas and Virginia.
  • Representation of the arranger and administrative agent in connection with a $74 million loan to finance the acquisition and renovation of a luxury hotel in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.
  • Representation of the arranger, initial lender and administrative agent in connection with a $53 million loan to refinance six industrial properties located in California, Florida, Illinois and Texas.
  • Representation of the arranger and administrative agent in connection with a $45 million loan for the construction and development of a shopping center in Upstate New York.
  • Representation of the purchaser in connection with the $50 million acquisition of a premier Madison Avenue retail property.
  • Representation of the purchaser in connection with the $21 million acquisition of a high-end retail property in San Francisco, California.
  • Representation of the purchaser in connection with the $20 million acquisition of a downtown Greenwich, Connecticut retail space.
