Hong Kong: Can an employee be on call on a rest day?

Summary
The Court of Appeal decision in the dispute between the Hospital Authority and their doctors has yielded further information (although not necessarily clarification) in respect of this meaning of "rest days" under Part IV Employment Ordinance.
Background
Judgment has recently been handed down in respect of an appeal heard in October in the dispute between the Hospital Authority and 165 of its doctors. The dispute concerned the alleged breach by the Hospital Authority of its obligations under The Employment Ordinance to provide certain rest days and statutory holidays for doctors.
