The training provided through our Pro Bono program is one of our greatest strengths. In becoming Director of Pro Bono, Marc Kadish brought with him not only vast experience in public law, but also 20 years' experience as a clinical law professor at Chicago Kent College of Law, where he trained what he describes as the "foot soldiers of public service law" - public defenders, states attorneys, and even some judges. Marc conducts both classroom associate training courses throughout the year and "applied" training by coaching young associates (and even some partners) in handling pro bono trial work - an experience our lawyers consider an "extraordinary opportunity."
