Melissa Anyetei is a Senior Associate in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown’s Intellectual Property practice group. A registered patent attorney, Melissa’s practice focuses on patent litigation, patent procurement and counseling. She has experience in a variety of technical disciplines including technologies involving pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical formulations, transdermal hormone replacement therapies, medical devices, nutraceuticals, gaming devices, smart cards and business methods. She has provided strategic advice regarding the transfer of rights in intellectual property, freedom to operate, patent prosecution and portfolio management.
Melissa was selected as a “Rising Star” in Illinois Super Lawyers Editions 2012-2013 (Intellectual Property Litigation).
