Linda Boachie-Ansah is an associate in the Chicago office of Mayer Brown’s Litigation practice. Linda concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation and appellate litigation. She has prepared a petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States and has written motions and briefs in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in domestic arbitration and administrative proceedings.
Linda also has experience in all other aspects of litigation, from pre-trial to discovery to arguing dispositive motions. She represents clients in litigation of a variety of matters, such as breach of contract actions, employment disputes, and product liability actions. Linda’s experience includes representing a major accounting firm in a professional negligence action, representing and arguing a dispositive motion for a state government agency in a lawsuit challenging its administrative determinations, representing an employer in an action before the National Labor Relations Board, representing a federal judge in an action where his disqualification was sought and preparing a post-arbitration brief for an employer in a domestic arbitration regarding the discharge of one of its employees.
Linda joined Mayer Brown after serving as a Staff Law Clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit from 2006 to 2008.
