Mayer Brown JSM advised Great Eagle Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 41) (“Great Eagle")  in respect of a discloseable and connected transaction relating to the acquisition of one-third interest in Magic Garden Investments Limited (“Magic Garden”) from Shui On Investment Company Limited. 

Magic Garden holds, among other things, a hotel development located on Lot 108 in Luwan District, Shanghai, the PRC and is next to Xintiandi, in Shanghai. The related sale and purchase agreement was entered into on 1 April 2010 and the consideration for the acquisition was approximately US$24,118,000.  The acquisition constitutes a discloseable and connected transaction for Great Eagle under the Listing Rules. 

Mayer Brown JSM also advised Great Eagle on the disclosure compliance in respect of the continuing connected transactions concerning the management and operation of the hotel development by the Great Eagle group under the “Langham” brand.
