- Head of IP/IT Practice group of JSM
- Covers the full range of contentious and commercial IP and IT work. Also practises in franchise law advising clients on setting up franchised operations in Hong Kong and in the PRC. Advises also on entertainment law acting for copyright collecting societies, production companies, celebrities and artistes. Serves on various professional committees, including the IP Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong and comments on the drafting of IP-related laws of Hong Kong. A significant part of his practice involves PRC matters and is amongst the first to handle IP enforcement work in China.

Has since 2004 represented the Law Society of Hong Kong to join with the Intellectual Property Department of HKSAR to lecture and advocate to PRC enterprises the importance of intellectual property and has lectured under this programme in the following cities in the PRC:- Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou, Shaoguan, Shunde, Weizhou, Jiangmen, Zhuhai and Zhongshan.
- Published many articles and chapters on IP and IT subjects. Co-authored a book called A Practical Approach to Intellectual Property Law in Hong Kong which is a popular legal publication of Sweet & Maxwell and a recommended book of the three universities offering law degree in Hong Kong. Is also the co-authors of the IP chapters in Tort Law & Practice in Hong Kong, a law reference book.
