Experience
Sydney Mintzer’s international trade, customs and investment practice is primarily focused on helping clients to comply with US import regulations, optimize global sourcing options, identify markets for export and investment and eliminate barriers to market entry. A licensed customs broker, he has assisted major US and foreign corporations involved in customs audits and focused assessments. In addition, Sydney has worked with clients to develop, implement and audit internal compliance programs; identify optimal sourcing patterns to minimize tariffs and duties; litigate antidumping and countervailing duty investigations; lead Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations; and advise on WTO and other trade policy initiatives.
Sydney has substantial experience working on trade matters around the world.
