Experience
Bob Gray serves on Mayer Brown's Partnership Board and as co-practice leader of the Corporate & Securities practice, he counsels businesses on a wide variety of matters. Since the late 1970s he has advised boards of directors, as well as audit and special committees, of public companies in many industries. Bob has represented a variety of public and private companies, underwriters, and equity investors/venture funds in private placements, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Bob is well known for his vast experience, his invaluable advice and his superb communication skills. He has been lauded by his clients for his “ability to explain legalese to business people in a straightforward and modest way” and his “constant and reliable input and advice to boards and committees” by Chambers USA, which named him one of the top attorneys in the Corporate/M&A and Communications/Technology practice fields in Texas.
