Experience
Frank E. Arado is a partner in the Charlotte office, and head of the Charlotte Real Estate Group. His practice is concentrated in commercial real estate, with an emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions of real estate and interests in real estate; debt and equity financing; workouts and restructurings; and joint venture formation.
Frank has represented institutional investors, commercial banks, investment banks, insurance companies, pension funds, their investment advisors, REITs and opportunity funds.
Frank has represented many of these clients in the full range of loan origination activity, including construction, permanent and interim financing arrangements, fee and leasehold financings, syndicated and participated loans, sale-leaseback financings, mezzanine financings, structured finance transactions and multi-property and multi-state financings. The loans have involved various types of assets, including hotels, resorts, office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily, condominiums and industrial properties.
Frank has also represented a variety of clients in connection with the acquisition and disposition of property (and portfolios of properties). The transactions have involved various asset classes (located throughout the United States), including hotels, resorts, office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily and industrial properties and have often involved property management and leasing matters.
