Experience
Katherine is an associate in the Litigation practice of the Chicago office. She joined Mayer Brown in 2008. Katherine concentrates on appellate litigation and briefing critical motions. She has written or contributed to the briefs in several federal appeals and has presented oral argument in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Katherine also has experience with a variety of trial-level litigation matters, including consumer class action, breach-of-contract, and land-use cases.
Katherine joined Mayer Brown after her clerkship with the Honorable Ilana Diamond Rovner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She previously served as a staff law clerk at the Seventh Circuit, where she worked with all the judges of the court in the research and disposition of appeals. Katherine also taught Appellate Advocacy at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Education
