Mayer Brown's Global Trade Practice supports clients seeking to gain and maintain an advantage in the global marketplace by addressing a range of trade and governmental issues through strategic advice, litigation, counsel, advocacy, and representation in administrative proceedings.

Our team is made up of some of the most experienced senior trade professionals and lawyers from the United States, the European Union and China, Globalseveral of whom have obtained international recognition for their representation of clients in trade defense and policy, customs and market access issues. Specifically, our team includes a former United States Secretary of Commerce and United States Trade Representative, a former European Union Ambassador to the United States, as well as former senior United States trade negotiators and senior trade officials with extensive contacts with senior government officials, vast experience negotiating market opening agreements in major markets, administering trade laws and litigating trade disputes.
