Frankfurt am Main, July 3, 2008. Leading international law firm Mayer Brown LLP announced the appointment of attorney-at-law and tax consultant Dr. Petra Eckl to strengthen its tax practice in Germany. She is currently a partner with Haarmann in Frankfurt and will join Mayer Brown on 1 October 2008. She is the third new partner to join Mayer Brown in Germany in 2008 and follows Dr. Benedikt Weiser (Frankfurt) and Ralf Schnaittacher (Cologne). Read >>

Frankfurt am Main, 10 April 2008. Mayer Brown is strengthening the Private Equity practice within its Corporate and Securities Practice. Dr. Benedikt Weiser has been a partner in the firm's Frankfurt office since the beginning of April. An expert in fund structuring, he will work to develop this area at Mayer Brown.
