Victor Salerno focuses his practice on all areas of commercial real estate and real estate finance. He represents domestic and international owners, lenders, investors, developers and tenants in transactions involving mixed use properties, office buildings, shopping centers, retail facilities, hotels, hospitality and leisure facilities, industrial facilities, health care and senior living facilities and residential and condominium developments located throughout the United States. In addition, a significant amount of Victor's work involves transactions relating to assets and/or investors located in foreign jurisdictions.
Victor has extensive experience in acquisitions and dispositions, institutional and commercial lending (including, CMBS, conventional financings, mezzanine financings, construction loans, multi-state financing transactions, credit facilities and bond financings, and loan participations and syndications), construction and development projects, portfolio transactions, property management, air rights transactions, tax-free exchanges, preferred equity investments, partnership and joint venture transactions, and leasing and sale-leaseback transactions. He also has significant experience in complex restructurings and recapitalizations from both the lender/creditor and borrower/debtor perspective, as well as real estate related litigation and bankruptcy matters.
