Sumitra Subramanian is a senior associate in the Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement practice of the London office.

Sumitra has acted for financial institutions on contentious matters including internal investigations, regulatory investigations and FSA enforcement proceedings. She has also acted for clients facing financial mis-selling claims. Sumitra's non-contentious financial services regulatory experience includes advising on conduct of business issues, corporate governance matters and compliance with the Payment Services Directive.

Sumitra joined Mayer Brown in 2011 from another City firm, prior to which she worked as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
