The Minority Law Journal’s Diversity Scorecard has consistently ranked Mayer Brown LLP as one of the top 100 law firms for diversity. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the educational arm of the nation’s largest advocacy group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Americans, rated Mayer Brown 100 in their 2011 Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work Survey.

In 2012, 23% of the US lawyers elevated to partnership were women and 5% of the US lawyers elevated to partnership were diverse. In 2011, the first-year associate class was 49% women, 14% racial/ethnic minorities and 4% LGBT nationwide. Our 2012 summer associate class had 31% women, 35% racial/ethnic minorities and 6% LGBT in the program.
