Cross-border Capability
The restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency practice has extensive experience in cross-border restructurings and formal insolvencies, working closely with colleagues in the firm's overseas offices on multi-jurisdictional matters.

Specific cross-border issues upon which our lawyers advise include proceedings under Chapter 15 of the US Bankruptcy Code, the interplay between English administration and Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 plans, protocols for international co-operation including UNCITRAL, the appropriate jurisdiction and choice of law, the application of the EC Regulation on Insolvency Proceedings including the debtor's centre of main interests and applications under s426 Insolvency Act 1986.
