Mayer Brown Partners With The Lawfare Project to Host Distinguished Panel of Experts on Lawfare
On May 29, Mayer Brown partnered with The Lawfare Project, a nonprofit organization, to host an event in its New York office. Several notable public figures spoke on the topic of lawfare, which consists of the negative manipulation of national and international human rights laws to achieve purposes other than, or contrary to, those for which they were originally enacted. The Lawfare Project was founded to raise awareness about, and to combat, this pervasive threat.
