Real Estate Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling agreements, assignments, mortgage files, first hand sales developments and other conveyancing transactions
  • To facilitate and attending to legal documentations relating to conveyancing transaction
  • Liaise with Land Registry, Companies Registry, banks, corporate and individual clients, and arranging for  stamping and registration of documents
  • Undertake clerical and administrative work as may be allocated from time to time, including maintenance of the records system and filing
  • Assist with the processing of the work and running of the team
  • To assist and contribute as a member of a team in large scale acquisition

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above with a minimum of  1 year relevant experience in a sizable company would be preferred
  • Good typing skills
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese;  knowledge in Mandarin an asset
  • Highly responsible, organised and efficient
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, attentive to details and willing to work under pressure
  • Willing to learn and work overtime
  • Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration

Secretary

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality secretarial support to our Partner and Associates  

Requirements:

  • Formal secretarial training
  • Minimum 8 years' legal secretarial experience from well regarded legal firms with solid experience in commercial practice
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge in Mandarin an advantage
  • Strong computer skills; highly proficient in MS Office i.e. Advanced Word (e.g. Style and Formatting), Outlook, PowerPoint etc.; solid experience in editing and formatting lengthy commercial finance documents (in English and Chinese language)
  • Excellent in Chinese typing (Chang Jei input)
  • Self-motivated and efficient, excellent organisation skills; able to work under pressure and willing to work overtime

Secretary (IP/IT)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide secretarial support to lawyers in our Intellectual Property Group dealing with local and foreign trademark prosecution, post registration matters and contentious trademark proceedings (opposition/invalidation/revocation)
  • Responsible for locating files and maintaining good filing records
  • Assist in drafting letters and preparation of Trade Mark Registry’s forms

Requirements:

  • Formal secretarial training
  • Minimum 3 years' legal secretarial experience from well regarded legal firms; experience in intellectual property work is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge in Mandarin an advantage
  • Proficiency in audio-typing and Chinese typing
  • Strong sense of responsibility; excellent organisation skills
  • Self-motivated and efficient; able to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong computer skills

Temporary Accounts Assistant (6 months)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining client database and performing related accounting functions
  • Assisting the team to perform client intake and matter inception
  • Participating in the transitional period during the Business Intake Re-engineering Project roll-out
  • Provide full spectrum of functional support to the Team
  • Handle independently for clients and matters intake, include Matter Opening, Matter Revision and Matter Closure
  • Verify historical data for the firm's clients records to update family tree categories
  • Coordinate and Communicate with HR for "employee movement set up" in the system
  • Manage day to day filing and maintain proper records covering client's Notice of Change
  • Provide monthly and daily reports for new matter open and AML Daily
  • Participate in and provide assistance to the full scale testing in C3 system where necessary
  • Assist and coordinate ad hoc assignment where appropriate

Requirements:

  • College degree with accounting emphasis and a minimum of 2 year prior related experience
  • Analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with popular Windows-based computer programs especially in Excel.  Knowledge in accounting software is an advantage
  • Strong time management and organization abilities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Mature and independent.  Able to work under minimum supervision
  • Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Trademark Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Handle filing, prosecution and post-registration matters for trademarks in Hong Kong and internationally
  • Assist in the provision of services to our clients, drafting documents and advice

Requirements:

  • Form 7 or above; legal qualifications as an asset
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience from well-regarded law firms with solid experience in trade mark work
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Mandarin an asset
  • Dynamic, self-motivated and efficient
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
  • Strong computer skills

Trademark Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • MProvide support to the Trademark Section including e-filing trademark applications and preparing letters, documents and invoices
  • Maintaining computer docket system 

Requirements:

  • CForm 7 or above with minimum 2 years' relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Highly responsible, detail-minded, organised and efficient
  • Service-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
