The Minority Law Journal’s Diversity Scorecard has consistently ranked Mayer Brown LLP as one of the top 100 law firms for diversity. For 2009, MultiCultural Law Magazine has ranked our Firm as one of the top 100 law firms for diversity, as a top 100 law firm for women, and as a top 50 law firm for associates. Mayer Brown LLP earned a rating of 95 out 100 percent in the 2009 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), an annual survey administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

In 2009, 25% of the U.S. lawyers elevated to partnership were women and 25% were racial/ethnic minority attorneys. In 2008, the first-year associate class was 49% women, 26% racial/ethnic minorities and 3.8% LGBT nationwide. The 2009 summer associate class has 47% women, 19% racial/ethnic minorities and 1.7% LGBT.
