Marcella Barganz is an experienced transactional lawyer who focuses on professional responsibility, risk management and conflicts issues that arise in the operations of Mayer Brown LLP’s offices worldwide.
As an attorney in Mayer Brown’s Finance Group for 6 years, Marcella represented a broad range of financial institutions in a variety of domestic and cross-border investment and finance transactions. She represented clients in the structuring and negotiation of US and international structured finance transactions, including cross-border securitizations of mortgage assets and future cash flows; residential mortgage-backed securities offerings in the private markets in the United States and abroad; and residential mortgage-backed extendable commercial paper offerings in the private markets in the United States. Marcella’s practice also included representing export credit agencies in international project finance, refinancings and restructurings in the power (coal and gas-fired) sector as well as representing equity investors and lessees in cross-border and domestic leasing transactions.
